During my tenure at Beryl, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design of the second iteration of widely used TFL share cycles in London. This involved electronic components and integrated lighting systems powered by the user's cycling efforts. These systems incorporated Beryl's patented Laser projection system, significantly enhancing rider visibility, along with our accelerometer-based braking technology. I also spearheaded the user experience, crafting responsive and adaptive lighting patterns, informing both users and other road participants about intentions and bicycle states.

After the success of this second cycle, Beryl had the opportunity to develop its own share bicycle system for London. We embarked on a ground-up development, aiming to create one of the most enjoyable and safe riding experiences. This design seamlessly integrated all the valuable insights and learnings gathered from the TFL cycle project and our consumer products.
